How to make homemade Limoncello


How to make Homemade Limoncello —easy peasy lemon squeezy.


18 ounce sealable glass bottle

18 ounces of Vodka

½ lemon

1 ½ cups of water

1 ½ cups of sugar

Thinly slice the lemons and put them into your vessel along with 18 ounces of vodka.  Store it in a cool dark place for at least 7 days and shake the bottle every day.  After 7 days, you are ready to make your limoncello.  Whisk together the 1 ½ cups of water and 1 ½ cups of sugar over medium heat until dissolved.  Strain your lemon infused vodka into the same pot and let it cool.  Bottle up the limoncello and put it into the freezer for just a couple of hours.  

Take it out of the freezer and pour it into shot glasses!
